What’s your design process from start to finish?
My process always starts with understanding the problem or need. From there, it really depends on the task - but I always aim to validate ideas quickly and often. I adapt the flow to the context, but research, ideation, prototyping, and testing are the essentials I keep coming back to.
What product that you designed are you particularly proud of and why?
What I am most proud of is my work on Krwinka. For the first time, I led the entire design process myself - from research to the final solution. I pushed for a timeless visual style and learned a lot along the way, from conducting user research, to prioritizing, to branding. And I still love it!
How do you balance user needs with business goals?
I always start by understanding what success looks like for users and the business. From there, I collaborate early with stakeholders to define priorities. I try to focus on ideas that create mutual value - where solving user problems also moves business metrics.
What industries or types of products have you worked on?
I’ve worked on products across fintech, real estate, e-commerce, healthcare, education, ERP, and even culture-focused apps. I love exploring new domains and I’m not afraid to dive into unfamiliar industries - it keeps me sharp and curious.
How do you collaborate with developers and product teams?
I believe in working closely with devs and PMs early on. It helps flag technical challenges sooner and keeps things aligned. I provide prototypes if needed, ensure clear handoff files, and sync with PMs on priorities. Scrum environments are where I thrive best.
What makes your design work stand out?
I always aim to find the sweet spot between strategy and craft. My designs aren’t just polished visually - they’re built to convert, solve real problems, and support product goals. It’s about creating work that’s smart, not just good-looking.
What is your availability and salary expectations?
I’m looking for a full-time role. I’m currently on a B2B contract with a 4-week notice period. My salary expectations start from $35/h, but I’m happy to discuss and negotiate depending on the scope and responsibilities of the role.
